I am joining two into one today. Firstly with Jez for A Fan of… and secondly with In a Vase on Monday.
Daffodil season is a really short one so it is best to make the best of it. When you have an abundance, put them in vases and enjoy them indoors too.

“She turned to the sunlight
― A.A. Milne, When We Were Very Young
And shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbor:
“Winter is dead.”

“Daffodils are yellow trumpets of spring”
― Richard L. Ratliff

I wandered lonely as a cloud
– William Wordsworth
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Daffodils
– William Shakespeare, The Winter’s Tale, Act IV, Scene 3
That come before the swallow dares, and take
The winds of March with beauty

Those daff’s are beautiful, Cath 😁 they really brighten up the day!

Such a change to see spring flowers, a taster of what is to come for many of us in 6 months or so
