I am joining with In a Vase on Monday.
I may have mentioned before that I have the sweetest neighbour ever. On Christmas Eve, the MOTH and I went over to leave a gift and wish them Season’s Greetings. As we were walking back through her garden, I spied a beautiful bunch of miniature roses….all on one stem. Before I knew it, Jen had cut the stem off and handed them to me.
I’d rather have roses on my table than diamonds on my neck.― Emma Goldman
Do not watch the petals fall from the rose with sadness,
know that, like life,
things sometimes must fade,
before they can bloom again.– Unknown
A rose must remain with the sun and the rain or its lovely promise won’t come true.– Ray Evans
But the rose leaves herself upon the brier,
For winds to kiss and grateful bees to feed.-John Keats
