Cee’s Midweek Madness Challenge {The 3rd week for this challenge is to pick a topic from Cee’s chosen photo} I am going with the topic of Vintage. I don’t actually have a collection of vintage sewing machines but I do have a collection of photos of vintage sewing machines
Such lovely old machines – I remember Grandma having one of these.

Mine did too apparently…my mum learned to sew on it but doesn’t know what happened to it 😢

Very intricate and solid designs…but can you imagine if it fell on your foot?! Great pieces of history.

I imagine you could pick it up and start sewing again but a modern machine would have all sorts of things go wrong. A sore foot would be the least of your worries

I meant the old sewing machines are pure steel it seems. It could lead to some serious injuries. Since I became a mom, I’m always worried about things falling on people or tripping hazards. lol
Have a great weekend and hope you have a happy Thanksgiving!

I’m a mum of 30+ year olds and still worry like that!

It never stops! To a mom their kids will always be kids, no matter how old they get.
Special privilege to be a mom!

I learned to sew on an old-fashioned treadle machine… simple but effective!
